When I’m not working you can find me enjoying a movie or trying a new Nashville restaurant with friends, working on my latest craft project or shopping.

When I’m not working, I enjoy songwriting, musical theater, karaoke, live music, hiking, crafting and scrapbooking. I am also addicted to 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles.
My favorite Social Media site is hard to choose! I love Twitter because of how quickly I can receive relevant, up-to-date news, but I also think the way Facebook has helped shape our generation is really interesting.
If I could have any superpower it would be time travel!

I’m reading the entire Harry Potter series for the first time. I didn’t read the books when they first came out, and I am trying to finish the books before a trip to London that I’m planning this summer.

I’m currently reading The Long Gray Line by Rick Atkinson. I borrowed it from my Dad. It follows West Point’s graduating class of 1966.

Something that you would not know about me is that I speak, write, and read French and Spanish fluently.
My favorite movie is Forrest Gump. The movie is not only the most stimulating history lesson on the second half of the 20th century that I have ever had, but it is also a satire on human character, which makes the movie even more interesting.
An interesting fact about me is I have lived on 3 continents: North America, Europe, and Africa.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my dog, cooking, yoga, Zumba, Pure Barre, hiking, and dancing. I am an awesome swing dancer!
My biggest fear is sharks. I will not go into the ocean past my ankles and I avoid shark tanks at all costs at the aquarium.

I am currently reading The Lake House by Kate Morton. I love a good mystery novel, and in all of Morton’s books she weaves a mystery through multiple generations and eras.

My favorite movie is Miracle, but really, it could be the Sandlot or Hoosiers or even the Mighty Ducks or Cool Runnings. My dad instilled a love of all things sports from an early age, including movies.
I am reading Outliers, by Malcolm Gladwell. One of my favorite professors ended the year with a syllabus for the rest of our lives that included a reading list I am excited to read my way through.
My favorite thing about working for HCA is the connection; there is definitely a feeling that everyone is connected and working together, but also there is a feeling of connection to the patient in that everyone can have a real impact.
