Improve Your Google Search Listing

Over the course of the PMP: Reputation Management program, Research Orthopedic and Reconstructive Specialists’ Google listing has seen quite the face-lift.  Having started the course with two Google reviews and a bland Google review panel (featured on the right side of search results), the practice now boasts seven reviews and a 4.7 star rating.

Raising awareness of your online profiles gives patients the opportunity to post their feedback and advocate for your practice on the same channels that prospective patients are using to find new physicians or practices. Take this practice’s lead and let patients know where they can find you online. Whether you spread the word through printed materials in your practice or by word-of-mouth, increasing traffic and feedback on these sites will benefit your practice in the future.

You can improve your Google search listing too! Follow these steps:

  1. Ensure your listing in 100% complete. If you have graduated from PMP Course 100, log in to your Google My Business page periodically to make sure you are still complete, as these requirements are subject to change.
  2. Include photos of your physicians and practice, as well as your practice logo. Photos will make your review panel stand out.
  3. Acquire new reviews. When you have acquired approximately four to five new reviews, your star rating will appear on your Google listing and catch the eye of prospective patients.
