Meet Our Newest Team Member

Katie DePriest, Social Media CoordinatorImage

We are happy to announce another addition to the team! Katie DePriest, a Nashville, Tennessee native, joins us having just graduated from Western Kentucky University.  Katie is eager to use her degree in public relations and minor in creative writing to create and explore new marketing techniques.  Katie spent the past year as an intern at Bill Hudson Agency – Advertising & Public Relations planning events, running social media accounts and conducting market research for a Fortune 500 company. Katie has personally experienced the benefits of social media in a business practice, as she gained positive results through effective online marketing tools. She is excited to bring her experiences and knowledge to the Social Media Coordinator position.

When I’m not working, I enjoy going on spontaneous adventures with friends, playing the ukulele, going to the park with my dog and trying new restaurants.

My favorite movie is Juno because dry humor is the funniest kind.

My favorite social media site is Twitter. I’m that typical millennial who enjoys news fast. I can catch up with world news happenings and local events in 140 characters.

My favorite place I’ve ever visited is Edinburgh, Scotland. I climbed Arthur’s Seat and visited two of Scotland’s royal palaces.

My favorite thing about working at HCA is being a part of a company open to listening to patient feedback. Not every company goes out of its way to open cyber doors to hear from clients the way HCA does.

My favorite books to read are books of poetry. I took a few courses on writing poetry in college, and I haven’t kicked the habit since.

We are excited about the new ideas Katie will bring to the team and our programs. Please join us in welcoming her!
