HCA Physician Services has been using Medical GPS patient experience surveys to gather feedback from our patients. This survey measures patient satisfaction from the time the appointment was made to the time spent with the provider. Our practices value each patient’s experience, and as we strive to provide the highest level of care, it is important to solicit feedback from our patients.
HCA Web Services has collected data from these patient surveys for the purpose of highlighting positive results for patients and potential patients to view on practice websites and physician profiles.These star ratings will be displayed for physicians and practices that have received an average star rating of 4.0 or higher from the survey question, “Would you recommend this practice/provider to family and friends?” Those with a star rating below 4.0 will not have ratings displayed on their sites or physician profiles.
The Web Services team will begin adding the ratings to the corresponding sites throughout the month of November and will continually update practice sites to ensure the most accurate ratings are displayed.
The goal of this initiative is to emphasize the quality of our physicians and encourage patients to select an HCAPS practice. It’s another way HCAPS is educating and connecting with patients online to better serve their health care needs.
