Examples of Good Holiday Content

The holidays are a great time to boost your connection with your audience on social media sites. There are some essential items that all practices should be posting around the holiday season.

1. Holiday hours – This is so important! Most likely your practice’s website is not going to list different hours around the holidays. Use your Facebook and Twitter page to let everyone know if you will be closed, and when you will re-open. Posting relevant information will drive traffic to your page and free up your phone lines.

2. Celebrate the holiday – Go beyond just a “Happy Thanksgiving” or “Merry Christmas” post, engage with your audience and celebrate the holiday with them.

3. Post something useful – This can be as simple as, what to do with leftover turkey. Think about what everyone is doing around the holidays, whether they are spending time with family, entertaining kids, making presents, cooking, etc. Be a source of valuable content.
