Social Media Engagement Drives Loyalty and Increased Revenue

According to a report by Brian & company, people who engage with brands via social media have a deeper commitment and loyalty to the brands. They spend 20% to 40% more than other customers on the services offered by the brands. Interestingly, social media engagement appears to drive the highest spending lift among passives, or unenthusiastic customers.

What does this mean for your practice? Social media can increase revenue for your practice by building patient loyalty, trust and commitment. Keep in mind though that implementing a social media strategy is a marathon, not a race. A day after you launch your Facebook Page you won’t see a dramatic increase in revenue. If you maintain a strong online presence, consistently add content and actively engage with patients you will see a return on your investment.
