Physicians Need to Get Used to Immediate Feedback Online

Social media has transformed the way patients give physician feedback. And like it or not, candid patient reviews are here to stay. A bad review that used to just reach a patient’s immediate friend base can now reach hundreds or even thousands of people in a matter of hours. On the flip side, a positive online review can instantly increase a physician’s credibility.

Do you know what is being said about you  and your practice online?

Have you looked at your Vitals profile? What about Yelp or FourSquare? Even if you’ve never been to these sites, you more than likely have a profile AND patient reviews.  You can no longer escape from patient feedback by staying offline. The conversation exists whether you are actively a part of it or not.
